Birders Connect
Bird walks and drinks the second Thursday of each month from May to September. Bird walk locations will vary and will typically be close-ish to town. Though they might travel farther afield some months.
This is the last Birder Connect event for 2024. We’ll meet at Malheur Refuge HQ at 5:00, bird HQ until 6:30 and then head to the Narrows for more birding and comradery. Join at any time, leave when you need to. No host food and drinks available at Jackalope Bar and Grill located at the Narrows RV Park.
Distance: up to 1.5 miles
Elevation change: <10% grade from parking lot
Trail tread and width: Paved trail, 36” wide
Pacing: We will walk at a slow pace, making frequent stops to enjoy birds and other nature that we discover.
Amenities: ADA parking and bathroom available, water available at Visitor Center
Rest Stops: There are many benches for resting.
Attendance is FREE
