Friends of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge promotes conservation and appreciation of natural and cultural resources at Malheur Refuge through education, outreach, advocacy, and on-the-ground stewardship.
To achieve our stated mission, the Friends of Malheur understands the importance of engaging our local and regional communities through education and outreach programs, events for our members and the public, and most importantly, projects that foster our on-the-ground Refuge stewardship goals. But please know, our work is not static. The Friends are constantly pursuing new projects, programs, and event opportunities that will achieve our mission goals.
