About this location: The concert will take place in the hills above Alvord Hot Springs overlooking the vast Alvord Desert lakebed in Princeton, Oregon. Concert check-in opens at 5:00 pm, and the performance begins at 6:00 pm. This remote IN A LANDSCAPE concert site, framed by the rugged peaks of the Steens Mountain range, requires an all-wheel-drive vehicle to access. For food, you can pre-order local Alvord Ranch hamburger dinner – the best in the west!
There is a steep quarter-mile uphill hike or a gentle half-mile hike from the parking lot to the concert site. The path is fairly rugged and not suitable for wheelchairs or those with mobility issues.
