Birders Connect – Birding & Comradery
Bird walks and drinks the second Thursday of each month from May to September. Bird walk locations will vary and will typically be close-ish to town. Though they might travel farther afield some months.
We’ll park at the Burns/Hines Nature Trail’s Egan Rd. Trailhead and walk along the Nature Trail, past the golf course and sewage ponds. The sewage ponds are great for waterfowl and the surrounding meadows, shrubs, and trees are good for a diversity of raptors and passerines. We’ll head to drinks, meals, and socializing after.
