An Exploration of Malheur Lake Ecology, Research and Restoration

The Friends of Malheur NWR is turning 25 in 2024 and to commemorate this milestone, we are celebrating every month with a special guest speaker.

For May’s presentation, we welcome Dominic Bachman, Malheur NWR’s Aquatic Biologist. His presentation will be on:

                                             An Exploration of Malheur Lake Ecology, Research and Restoration

Dominic will take us on a photographic journey spaning the past five years.  Through the lens of a camera he will increase our knowledge and understanding of Malheur Lake’s vast ecological system and the onging research and restortation projects that are being conduct with the goal of improving the lake’s wildlife habitat.

Attendance is FREE

Donations are welcome. Suggested donation of $10/attendee.
