Howl Intentional Goods (Platinum Member)
Howl Goods is a maker and purveyor of quality apparel and soft goods made with natural, durable materials to be intentionally you. Founder and designer Alicia Renner made a special vest with a cutout from a children's book called "Between Cattails" by Byrd Baylor and Terry Tempest Williams. It only seemed appropriate that supporting a wetland would be the best use of the raffle money.
With this piece, Alicia wanted to bring awareness to wetlands because of their natural abilities to be carbon sinks. With all the fires going on this year, she felt like it was important knowledge for people to understand that forests aren’t the only place for carbon storage. Plus as the forests continue to burn we need to support nature's other carbon storage sites, such as bogs, wetlands, and marshes.
