Friends of Malheur NWR Stewardship Volunteers are critical to meeting the needs of Malheur NWR. This summer work party will assist with preparing Sod House Ranch for its open season. The Sodhouse Ranch interpretive area with open to the public on August 16. Stewardship work will include:
Housing at the Malheur Field Station in Dorm E (private rooms) will be provided by the Friends.
Donations to support housing costs are welcome.
Arrive at Malheur Field Station on Friday by 4:00 PM or after.
Work Saturday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM + Breaks
If the work is complete Sunday morning will be open for volunteers to enjoy the Refuge.
