This family-friendly event, organized by KLAMATH BASIN AUDUBON SOCIETY, is an opportunity to socialize and to learn more about the Klamath Refuges, duck hospital, and BirdAllyX’s partnership with the USFWS to help sick birds. We’ll also have information about how you can get involved in short and long-term solutions!
During the event there will be a raffle including donations from local organizations and businesses. All raffle proceeds will benefit Bird Ally X, a nonprofit organization of wildlife caregivers dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy. Their volunteer-run bird recovery hospital needs operations funding to continue caring for injured and sick birds that have been affected by the botulism outbreak at the Refuges.
