Malheur After Dark – A Dark Sky Adventure

Come celebrate dark skies and all things nocturnal at Malheur NWR’s Sod House Ranch historical site. We’ll start the evening with a FREE Picnic including burgers sourced locally, delicous sides and rootbeer floats! Then join in an early evening short walk around the site looking for birds, bats and badgers, and then at dark enjoy a exceptional star viewing experience with the Ami Bilbisi of Oregon Star Safari.

For night sky viewing and your comfort, bring lawn chairs or ground covers, insect repellent and clothing layers to ward off an evening cool down. An ADA compliant bathroom and parking will be available.
