Maybe you have been to Malheur NWR or it is on your wish list. These live workshops will take you into the heart of the refuge where we will have fun exploring the birds of Malheur and finding out what makes the unique habitats at Malheur such an attraction for these birds. We will play with different skills and strategies for sketching and journaling and fill our pages with these awesome birds. All ages and levels are welcome and encouraged!
Suggested Materials:
Bring your favorite drawing/sketching/journaling supplies (paper, pencil, pen)
Color media like colored pencils or watercolors, brush
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Cindy Flanagan is a naturalist, artist, and educator, who has dedicated her work to connecting people to nature and place through art, science, and adventure. Currently she offers nature journaling with Rainier Audubon Society and Lyme Art Association.
